So if you're too lazy to push the pedal down, get this?

No thanks, when I push the pedal down 20% I want 20% throttle, when I push it down 100% I want 100%. I don't want 100% when I have the throttle pedal at 20%.
You're misinterpreting the graph possibly.

The stock throttle is non-linear, but, yes, reaches 100% WOT when fully depressed. The JMS reaches WOT at about 60% if set to "100%", but is linear.

The primary value I see is the linearity of the JMS. The stock pedal is really badly non linear.

I keep visualizing my old '79 302 and how I could thump the gas pedel and it would "bark" when I wanted to feel cool with my mullet back in the day, lol. Not sure if this will do that, but sounds interesting.

Had to blow some money on the car so ordered from Beefcake!

It plugs into the throttle harness and can be removed in minutes leaving no trace it was ever there.

Does anyone know if the canned tunes from the SCT adjust throttle response as well?

This is NOT snake oil. Installed it last night and it was just what the doctor ordered. Woke my car up! Quicker throttle which is what i was looking for. If this what my car will feel like with a Lund tune and another 20-30 HP to the wheels i will be a buyer. :ford:

So here's a question I don't think has been asked. Sorry I don't have my instructions on me right now, but I believe I saw in there to disconnect the battery and let it sit for a bit to make the cars computer recognize the install. I found in a set of on line instructions for a Pedalmax, but for a different vehicle, that instructed you to just have the key to us off position for a bit of time to do the same.
My question is I have the knob and am going to install it tonight, if it's truly a battery disconnect will this have to happen with every knob adjustment. Guessing not, but thought I'd ask.

No, the battery disconnect is just for the install. You can adjust the knob at will. I disconnected the negative terminal, installed pedalmax and then reconnected the terminal and fired it up. Word of caution - when i first put my foot into it with all nannies off and @ 100% i got to 7000 rpm REAL quick. A testimant of the product as my foot was used to the pedal without it.

You could save yourself the money and just put your car in sport/track mode...

Still had a soft pedal(delayed acceleration). This product works for those who don't want to go the tune route yet. Money WELL spent...

Tune still doesn't really fix the "soft pedal"
