I think I'm going to give this thing a try. Too many positive reviews here to ignore. I'm also hesitant to tune the car and void the warranty so this may be a good intermediate step until my warranty expires and I go nuts.

Debating on whether or not I want/need the knob. Sounds like most people are loving 100%.

In regards to the knob, if you do get it, does it always need to be connected or can you set whatever you want and then disconnect it from the unit? (I'm guessing it always has to be connected).

For those that have gone the knob route, what are your thoughts? Do you recommend it or is it pointless since you're always running at 100%?

***Sorry if any of this has been covered somewhere in here. I read the first 10 pages of the thread and then gave up and just posted my questions***

I wish I picked up the knob when I purchased mine. Its cheaper that way. The knob would have given me yet another control for at the strip.

I too wanted to avoid a tune, until or if Ford Racing ever has one. Great product for the investment.

Knob needs to always be connected, otherwise it defaults to the 100%. It acts like a resistor.

And I hooked up my knob even though I run at 100% probably 99.9% of the time, but it's just nice knowing that if I ever have to dial it down for whatever reason, I can do it in 2 seconds.

I thought you were the one that asked what that little knob in my footwell is haha. Side note, drive up to Muncie tonight for fresh brewed beer, 7pm or later.

I was skeptical of this unit before. I recently started carrying JMS so I decided to try the pedalmax out on my 16 Mustang GT. This thing feels awesome. Regardless if it makes it actually faster the car does feel alot faster around town. Having the unit with the dial I switched it from 100% to 0% and the car feels incredibly sluggish with it turned off. Definitely worth it for the feel! It makes rev matching seem a lot quicker and easier as well. Loving it!

My tuner adjusted my pedal to be more aggressive as I requested. Love it.

I added the tune after and it seems like my tune has added the throttle lag back. I feel like going back to stock tune. I got better gas mileage with stock tune and better acceleration.

I didnt think about the rev matching factor! This by itself is awesome.

So to clarify, when you dial the knob back to zero, you're basically back to stock or is it actually worse than stock?

As someone who has the MT-82 manual and has had 8 previous manual cars, I really find that the Mustang is the hardest to consistently drive/shift. It's kind of hard to explain what I'm talking about but I'm starting to think that having this PedalMax may be the key. I think the stock throttle is just too slow to engage. I think I def have to get one when I get back from vacation next week.

On another note, I can't believe this thing is $300+! Seems like it should be around the $150 mark for what it is, but at the end of the day, you can't put a price on putting a smile on your face while driving your Mustang!

Thanks to the others for the responses to my questions!

I'm with you on that. I wish there were a few more competitors to bring down the price of these devices
