really looking forward to installing the pedal max, do we know if it comes with the knob or not from lethal?
Tried to ask Lethal this same question and a couple of others yesterday but there wasn't anybody manning the "chat" feature on the website.

Beefcake...It says 2011-2015 when you click the link. Can you confirm that it is fine for the 2016's as well? Thanks!

Will have to wait 3 months to try it out as car is in storage for the winter.
May purchase adjustment knob if I find it to sensitive.

So I just sent a request to Lund for a tune revision because of my thermostat and I included all of my mods, including the JMS PedalMax:

Part of his response was:

"Dump the JMS PedalMax it is junk and does nothing. We already modify the drive by wire calibration in the tune."

The pedalmax has probably been my favorite mod and has changed the driving my experience of my car, kinda shocked to hear this....it does a lot?

What do you guys think?

Doesn't it just increase the sensitivity of the throttle? So if you pressing pedal down say 25% it will act as if you are pressing it 50%? That is how those things have been for other cars. Makes the car feel faster since you have to press pedal less for the car to accelerate faster.

Yup pretty much. I don't know how the exact math works out on the JMS, but the Sprint Booster is about 30% more then the existing throttle map on Max. So it depends on what mode you're in if you have a premium package. And once your at about 85% throttle it's dead after that, you're at WOT already. I have a Lund tune, Sprint Booster and Premium package haha. It's kind of redundant but I still have fun with it. I like setting my Booster on Medium and Sport+ driving mode. As long as you understand what it does and your ok with spending the money on it, have at it. I don't think I would have spent the money if I learned a little bit more about it first though, IMHO. But it's installed and money is spent...

In case you haven't seen this video, this explains it pretty well:

[ame]

It increases the sensitivity, but also I think the WOT signal travels a lot faster. I could have my car in just stock mod or sport or track and go step on it, go WOT, and it does not feel as smooth or as fast then doing it with the PedalMax.

Another member here said he took off the Pedalmax once he got his lund tune, but the throttle response did not feel the same without it, so he re-installed it.

I'm going to try the tune without the Pedalmax and see how that goes.

Socalmustang thank you very much for informing me on the 1st day of the year that I have flushed $$$ down the drain, a part that's literally not needed on my car :frusty: redline727 I will agree that it's money spent/part installed

Electric signals can't be sped up by using additional components. They travel along wires at the speed of light.

I love the mod. Don't get me wrong.

Best info was in the PDF linked a while ago. It adjusts the sensitivity of the throttle, shortens the distance to WOT, and makes the response more linear.

It's still a fun product to have, don't get me wrong. I just think the cost, for me personally, I could have done without and spent the money elsewhere. But now that I have it I try to enjoy it. But when you see on paper that it's proven to only be "faster" when going to straight WOT and even then, only by milliseconds bc it is physically sending a WOT signal just before your foot would actually get there. It kind of makes you rethink the money spent haha. Every other test on it can be matched just by using your foot. You want to accelerate "faster"? Give it MOAR throttle and move your foot faster haha.

Using a poor choice of words, it allows you to drive like an asshole without you feeling like your driving like an asshole haha. IE, less, and slower foot movements, that allow you to achieve more throttle sooner...

So I can do burnouts with Booster set on Max in Track mode with hardly moving my foot lol. Like I said before, you just have to enjoy its fun factor.

Have you felt a difference driving with it?

I have the dial knob, so I can just turn it off when I want and turn it to 100 with sport mode and it feels amazing. I think if you don't have the dial knob, you can easily get accustomed to the new feel and forget how the throttle response use to feel. Someone here mentioned it before right before they bought it that they felt it was no longer working, until he uninstalled it and felt how sluggish the original throttle response was.

It's subjective, for myself, I would have easily paid double for what it's given me and I believe it's the best mod you can get for what the cost is.

After I installed it (took 5 mins or so) I could definitely feel the difference. I elected to go w/o the knob so I was at 100% 24/7. I had been told that it was not needed when you get a tune. When I submitted my ticket to Lund I included the JMS as one of the mods already on the car. He didn't come back and say that I should remove it so I figured it was okay. I'll keep it on the car for now, I mean it was less than $200. In a world of $1,500 headers, Catback systems, $400 shifters a part that costs less than $200 is a steal. Haha...
