Anyone using the JLT Oil Separator on a 2018-2019 Mustang GT please respond. I'm considering this for my 2019 GT but the photos I've seen of the JLT oil separator on the 5.0L Coyote look to be very tight regarding removal of the can to drain the captured oil. The engine shroud also seems to restrict access.

The separator is between the front of the engine and the coolant overflow reservoir. Maybe removal is not a problem but all I have are the photos and it looks like a tight fit especially when removing the can. Comments?

It is no problem being able to empty, the lines are flexible and if you prefer, the lines are quick disconnect you could actually remove from the car in seconds
The only issue I had was the canister touches the head, I just put a small piece of foam tape on the head at the contact point

What TLW said. I zip tied mine to another line to keep it away from the head. I also removed the gigantic engine cover. It's super easy emptying the can.

I noticed on the '18 and now'19 I get far less oil in the can than I did on my '16.

I guess you're eyeing the Black Friday discounts.

Install is a 5 minute job. I didn't even remove the engine cover. Emptying is a snap as well. I also had the same issue as Clump and zip tied mine as well as you can see in this pic.
