I'm looking to get a JLT intake and Lund Racing custom tune for my 2015 GT auto. My only concern is that I live in California. If I install the JLT intake will I have issues with passing a smug test?

You don't have to work about smog testing after 6 years. That would be the least of my worries, since installing an intake can be easily uninstalled back to stock.

Not sure about cali. Systems are for "offroad" use only

As far as dyno. If your na. You shouldn't need a dyno. Load n go. Your always welcome to send in logs to be reviewed at no charge

I want to order as well but all we can get is 91 here in Kalifornistan. Not sure if there will be any noticeable improvement to justify 900.00

Blitzburgh - Let me know if you end up purchasing an Nguage/CAI. I live in California as well and I'm having the same dilemma.

I'm debating right now between ordering that combo or use the money to get paint Opticoat pro.

I plan to get a whipple next summer so not sure if its worth doing the CAI Tune thing.

I ended up not going with Opticoat Pro. The place I went to installs cquartz finest, Opticoat pro, and Modesta. They told me if you take care of your car save some money and go with the Cquartz finest. I spray a topper coat on after I wash my car and its amazing. He said Opticoat was the first to the market but their are better options to go with now of days. The Modesta was incredible but very expensive.

Good luck with your decision.

I'm still back and forth about the CAI and tune. I just purchased the BMR lowering springs and the resonator delete kit for my exhaust. Hopefully that doesn't mess with my smog check. I don't see how since its after the cats.

the nice thing with lund, if you do the n/a tune for $200, you only pay $250 for the remote tune vs the $450 for the power adder, if you do the supercharger

So if ordering a power adder go with one of your "tuner" kits and pay the $250 for Lund to remote tune?

Received the gear promptly and it is installed.

First test from a dig gained 2 100's on the g-force meter (83-85) from a 1,500rpm launch. Tried again from 3k rpm but never hooked so I said maybe later cause it is dark and Friday night. I did see some temp jump on the air inlet meter. The vacuum meter used to drop to 5, now it hits zero.

Sound is sick with my stock exhaust.

The matching JLT tank gives the under hood a clean look. Nothing stands out like a turd.

Temp was 83 this morning while driving normal AIT held 7 above ambient.

Driving like I stole it up to 20 above ambient.

I can't launch over 2k rpm without burning through 1st and 2nd gear. Will try again in future, maybe need driver mod.

Update: I think the car is tapped @ .85 G
