Back of the envelope...

307/.8 (assumed loss through auto) = ~380 at crank

Mustang GT traps 112 w/ 435 hp.

435-380 = 55 hp diff

112 - 107 = 5 mph diff

Assuming 10 hp/mph...50 hp

Weight difference impacts mph as well, but as a quick sanity check, I think we can conclude it's well within reason...
380 crank is very doable if the car was on a mix of race gas and had some timing.

Hey look guys I know I have gt pp but I love all mustangs and have had some very fast turbo fours myself, not bashing the eco at all.Just would love to see that time slip.to see what was happening, a time slip tells alot, and if u guys are getting 1,7 60 foot times on stock pp tires thats awesome.

Bama ran a 11.77 with just a tune and cai on their gt but they did also have slicks on it.

Wait till u see what a little nitrous does for that turbo!!!, just a 50 shot on my 1.8 gti made 360 ft/lbs of torque with the stock turbo. It had a tune full exhaust and cai.U believe how fast that turbo will spool up with just a little nitrous and torque is crazy.

It already spools too fast. The nitrous would be good for some chemical intercooling though...

Shame it wasn't as advertised. They didn't say it was running on race gas.

That stuff bugs me. Just tell us EVERYTHING that's changed from off the lot.
