380 crank is very doable if the car was on a mix of race gas and had some timing.Back of the envelope...
307/.8 (assumed loss through auto) = ~380 at crank
Mustang GT traps 112 w/ 435 hp.
435-380 = 55 hp diff
112 - 107 = 5 mph diff
Assuming 10 hp/mph...50 hp
Weight difference impacts mph as well, but as a quick sanity check, I think we can conclude it's well within reason...
