Will be worth it in the end!
Glad it all went well - some Epsom salt and a nice soaker, you’ll be good to go!

Plus every time you use them, you fell like you are bending them up. Especially if the position is not perfect. For a track car or an autocross car that sees a lot of quicky wheel and tire changes they are a great investment. Even with a pure street car that only sees the home jack once a year. I would still recommend one of the pinch weld protectors/jack aids, which can be as simple as a slotted hockey puck. The S550 has 4 specific Jack points, each point only lifts one corner of the car so you need to Jack up all 4 to lift the whole thing. Jacking rails allow you to do it with only 2 points.
Torque spec = tight ... we don't have specific torque specs for the jacking rails.I just baught a set of the steeda low profile rails. Do I need to apply thread locker to the bolts or just torque them down? Thanks
You dont rekon the bolts will vibrate loose?Torque spec = tight ... we don't have specific torque specs for the jacking rails.

The instructions for my Steeda Ultralight rails specified 45 ft lbs. Also, on the passenger side, there were 5 small screws holding up a cover/deflector of some kind. I removed the screws and the jacking rail itself is holding the cover tight. You dont rekon the bolts will vibrate loose?

My quickjack works just fine, yes I can't get under the car between the wheels, but I am able to navigate from each quarter panel and get to anywhere I need underneath. Feels safer than jack stands in my opinion, and it's nice to have it lifted in a matter of seconds to tweak something real quickI did the same. Steeda short rails at first and swapped them out for BMR long rails. I like having my jack stands as far apart as possible for easier access getting under the car from the sides. This is also another reason why the Quick Jack would not work for me. .
