With the car lowered and jacking rails fitted.. I need a ultra low profile jack to take to the track for wheel swaps etc...

I currently have the Arcan XL2T low profile 2.75” which is great.. but it’s 100lbs..! Works well as a shop jack, but not for lugging to the track and back.

I looked for a sub 3” compact jack, but haven’t found anything.
Any ideas.? What are you using.?

I'm able to use a HF 2-ton aluminum jack no problem and just keep it in the trunk all the time. It weighs about 40-lbs but its minimum saddle height is 3.5" so, you might have to drive over some pads to lift the car with it if that doesn't work. Or somehow modify the jack to pick from lower.

The lowest saddle height I saw doing some googling was this one and the price isn't bad:

I can't speak to its quality or anything. Never seen it in person.

There's a Harbor Freight 1.5 ton AL jack that I have that works fine.

The HF 1.5t is not what it used to be. Spend the extra money on the 2t, it is a lot better jack.

The 2.5t is even better but that's more for the garage or tow rig/trailer than the trunk of the car.

I've been using 1.5t HF aluminum jack for past two years and it worked - it seemed to be sort of maxed out at its capacity, but it did work (and I've used it many many times). May look at 2t one though if it's better and not much heavier.

HF 1.5 ton Aluminum here. Works perfectly fine. I have the 3-ton low profile in the garage.

HF 2 ton here. But not sure on the minimum height if it will work for your car.

I use HF aluminum 2T at the house. I like the lower weight, although I never have to lift it off the ground.
I thought about adding the HF 1.5T jack for track days, because it is even lighter and smaller to get in and out of the trunk.

Ultimately I decided to not get anything. There are plenty of jacks to borrow at the track and everyone is so friendly and helpful that I don't feel bad asking for one.

I have the same one. It's not particularly robust, but it's light and gets the job done. I have a 2.5 ton steel (heavy) low profile I use around the house. I'd recommend the 1.5 harbor freight for track use.

I can fit the 1.5 ton AL jack behind the passenger seat ok. I’ve had to replace one so they aren’t super reliable but usually if you’re at the jack and yours gives up the ghost, there will be 5 or 8 other people you can borrow from in a pinch.
