It's Cold In Flat Rock

When I was flying 747s out of Anchorage for Southern Air, one of those de-icers hit the airplane, put a hole in it and didn't tell anyone. The airplane couldn't pressurize after takeoff and had to return for a landing. The tried to locate the de-ice guy, but he fled the scene. In his compartment they found a bunch of beer cans.

Sorry for the sidetrack, your photo reminded me of the story.

Another sidetrack, was southern air affiliated with the government during the Vietnam Nam conflict. I was an IO/gunner on an ac 130 at that time.

Yes, They tried to hire me as I had a Crew Chief background prior to the Gunship, but at that time , I had had enough after 2 1/2 years in country.
