Thank you sir, I’m very excited. This is a life long dream finally becoming a reality.

I’m excited for things to start returning to normal and for the plant to fire back up. Maybe I can even get lucky and get a photograph or two of my car being built going down the line.
Hang on to that hopeful thought, but put only slightly more than zero trust in any timeline given to you. With your vin# you can log into Ford's tracking site. Once my car was released (3/22) it gave me 13 days to dealer delivery on 4/12/20 (Easter Sunday). It counted down to 1 day, stayed
at 1 until 4/13, and has now counted back up to 18 days. The car has been stuck in the shipping yard since 3/22. I emailed Ford Performance
today, but they offered no information (promises) as to a shipping date. This whole mess is not their fault and beyond their control, BUT they
are Ford PR and will put "spin" on their answers. Thanks to info provided by Snoopy, I pinned them down to the point that they stopped spinning
and just said "Sorry about that".

I completely agree! I don’t expect my car any time soon. It wouldn’t surprise me if I take delivery after my order date’s one year anniversary.

That's an excellent outlook, John.
I called Ford Performance and they gave me a build date of 6/9 originally 5/18. I have a priority code 1. Does anyone know if that's good?

Priority code 1 is the best you can get, and means it should be sent to plant pretty soon (once up and running).

Ford issued a press release today indicating they are getting safety precautions in place for their suppliers, auto workers, and dealers. Sounds like it will not be too much longer before they have their US plants back in production. Ford said there is no us automaker that employs more salaried workers than Ford. Ford said no US automaker exports more vehicles than Ford. Interesting press release.

Just read that Michigan Governor Whitmer extended the state of emergency and disaster declaration until the 28th. Not sure how that might affect the automakers.
That order does not apply to manufacturing. Bars, casinos, gyms, etc. are subject to extended stay at home order.

I think she signed two different orders - one for restaurants, gyms, etc. and one extending the state of emergency because the state legislature wouldn’t extend it. But it looks like neither applies to manufacturing.

Sorry for all of those who have open orders MY'20... I would really try and secure your orders for '21 at this point. Something to really think about discussing with dealers.
