Its been awhile but im back.

Been MIA on the forum but its time to get active again.


So recently snapped stock driver side axle. Got them replaced with ford racing g force axles. Was playing around with a skat pack charger modded in flex fuel.
When we did dead stop run i heard a big thud and then grinding shifting 3-4. Finally got car up and now apart. The differential bolts in driver rear and passenger front load side bolt snapped. So the whole differential twisted sideways causing my axles boots to rub on subframe.

sigh.

so now got everything apart and a food friend supplied me with a new subframe. So that takes care of issue of bolt being snapped in original subframe.

now leaves me with bolt snapped in the differential. And where i am looking who can point me in the right direction. In leaning towards trying to back it out in my own. But not sure what size bit or exactly what i need for the job. Im going to try and upload pics. Thanks in advance and hope all are well!

Ps i had the steeda black insert differential kit. Im now going to install bmr kit with upgraded hardware.

You can try using an ezout but if you mess up its more of a problem. I would just take it down to a machine shop and have them Tig weld a stud to it and back it out.
