I recently lowered my 2016 gt with bmr performance springs but I can not find a shop that can get the car up on their alignment rack. It will hit because it sits too low now. Has anyone else had this trouble or do I just live in an odd area??

Very odd....

Post pics? Our springs are not very aggressive at all.

alignment

just use some 2x4's to drive on to the rack. We have the same issue at the dealership I work at. The rack is at a steep angle to drive up on. I had to do the same when I lowered my 04 cobra.

Just went through this,
They asked. "What kind of car?"
Me "Mustang
"Is it lowered?"
Me "a little"
"It might not clear the rack."
When I got there The guys looks at and stuck 2x4 in front of the ramp, front cleared fine. The jacking rails hit though.
That's with the steedas sport linears, tho.

I have Sportlines on my car, and I was able to get it done at the dealership I bought the car from. They had to use some boards--and patience--as well, but they were able to get it on. I also had an issue because my car has the Ford Performance transmission cooler scoop, and they had to raise the car with boards a second time to clear the center of the rack.

I agree the car sits perfect, it's not like I slammed it, and I found it pretty ridiculous that the same dealership couldn't align their own cars they sell. It's only lowered an inch but I'm not sure they could get a stock one on either.
They did try some 2x4s to lessen the angle but it still didn't work
I know if I got some longer 2x12s I could get in on there but they didn't have anything like that.

Would that be a sight? me driving to get an alignment with some long 2x12s sticking outa the trunk ..:frusty:

LOL. Go to another shop. BMR springs hardly give a drop. If they cannot get your GT on the rack they are incompetent. Maybe air up your tires?

Just stating the obvious. You are posting the front drop. What about their drop in the rear?? 1/2" is all. And the 1.2" in front is approx. Steeda now has the 2" springs. H&R springs offer a nice lowering spring 1.1"-1.3" If you like BMR that is great. Their suspension parts are nice stuff. Their lowering springs give minimal drop so I was commenting about getting OPs GT on a rack. :)
