Lots of good comments here.

I had a 2011 Roush stage 2 before the current car and never had any of these problems doing aftermarket stuff. Just called Ford and they did it. With this car it has been nothing but problems.

Before this alignment debacle, I couldn't even get my 285/30's swapped to 285/35 without first agreeing the company (Sullivan Tire) wasn't liable if they scratched my rims. And before Sullivan, I had dropped the wheels off at Ford, who called an hour later (when I got to work) and said come get the wheels because we won't do the tire swap!

I agree with the Lazy Techs comments. Was actually thinking incompetent but Lazy is probably more accurate. That said, Chevy did a good job aligning my car today, did it with little notice, and had a low profile alignment lift. The alignment guy did say it was the hardest alignment he ever had to do which surprised me since I have camber bolts and adjustable toe rods.

Those of us that are approaching 70 will never have this alignment shop problem...our backs have decided that the factory heights of our Stangs are perfect! Lowering these Ponies would require too much effort to get in/out...I guess I'll have to live "uncool"! But I can appreciate the stance of lowered Ponies!

Never thought of that

Hey, that's an idea. How much do they cost installed? And can they raise the car quickly as you're driving along?:headbang: I wouldn't want to be driving along "low-rider" style and come upon an armadillo in the middle of the road.:eyebulge:

Just make sure the place you're using handles bmw M3s and you'll be fine... if they are familiar with aligning those they'll be able to handle the s550 similarly well. The e92/3 on the oem sport springs are some low-sitting oem mofos, and beemer techs handle alignments just fine on those around here. Shoot I've even had some low Supras and Rx7s done at NTB and MrTires around my way just fine... although I like to stick around and make sure the specs before and after are what I expected.
My stock m3 on oem sport suspension sits lower than my last Supra on JIC coilovers...

I didnt have a problem theres a few shoppes local to me in the GTA that can do low cars. The mustang cleared easily and its lowered 2-2.5" right now on coilovers but even though the guy i went to is the same one Ive gone to for a decade with all my cars.. this time around he was too lazy to do any camber adjustment saying it was close  . Like wtf I used a level on my rims and did the adjustment at home before I went to the alignment but am pissed my front has 1' more negative up front. I know for a fact he is getting lazier as the years go by or he was just didnt want to bother with camber bolts ( my coilovers have adj camber bolts in front and I have steeda adj camber arms in the rear).

Time is money In the whole automotive industry. Which is why I like to diy but now my alignment guy is a cash grab too
