The battery is already grounded at that location. Why did you run a redundant ground?

Chasing down radio issues. I think im over thinking stuff. Everyone told me to check grounds so I added a ground

The grounds they are referring to would be attached to the body, not the battery. That extra ground wire you added isn’t accomplishing anything.

I will add that it's my understanding that the Battery Monitor is in the negative circuit. Adding a wire like you did could be negating the BMS causing the system to alter its strategy.
Just speculation but yeah, that wire you added will give you no benefit and could be detrimental.
Also, as PSI said, when people say to "check your grounds" they are referring to the individual grounding points attached to the body, frame and engine. Specific ground points provide grounds for specific circuits, components, modules, etc. Adding a wire to the battery will have zero effect on faulty individual grounds.

That wire was bypassing the battery monitor hall effect sensor. It's the ring around the cable just in front of the fuse box. It will mess up the battery monitor strategy used and cause you headaches. What you should do is inspect the body ground stud on the shock tower. Yes it looks good from topside, but you need to remove it to see if it is rusted. On my wife's car it looked good, but once I removed it I discovered that Ford relies on the stud to make electrical contact and once rusted, it becomes problematic. They also leave the area under the lug painted. So no contact there. I had to remove the paint and expose metal so the lug would make contact since the bolt hole and stud were rusted. I reassembled with grease so it won't rust. And cover it well. All my electrical gremlins were gone.

This. Cleaned it up right yesterday. Car runs good so far and radio is working. Those tx65 skars sound good. But maybe its because ive been using a Bluetooth speaker all week. Lol
