Morning Ladies and Gents,
I am running stock intercooler with Cobb Stage 1 98RON OTS tune.

This image shows the charge temp and other metrics after I have driven for about and hour hooning around my local mountain roads. Are these metrics ok? Especially the charge temp in Degrees Celsius as I am in Oz.

I was even thinking of running the stage 2 on stock intercooler.

wouldnt hurt to change one of your 6 parameters to show timing corrections to see if that heat is causing timing to be pulled (cyl 1 timing correction?) . also im not familiar with cobb which PID is being shown for air temp, if that is airbox temp or post intercooler.

I suggest you change one parameter to intake temperature and put it next to charge temp (replace the map slot)
The intake temp is from the airbox, and charge is post intercooler.
This way you can see how badly the stock intercooler works.

49 is about 120 F, your ecu won't start to pull timing until about 150F (66C)

You gents are legend! What you said made sense. We are now in the equivalent of November temp for parts of US. More like high at 73.4 Deg F when I took this screen shot. In summer my charge temp will definitely hit 150F or more.

I don't do track (at least not yet) but love hooning around the mountain roads looking so at my current stats at Stage 1 I am ok in Autumn and Winter. Stage 2 is probably going to pushing it way too far.

Got to start trawling this list to find a suitable Intercooler!

Thanks All!

I was against the idea of replacing my stock intercooler due to laziness, but after doing it, with my ford tune. it really does feel better, and more responsive. I tossed a CPE front mount intercooler, the stock street replacement, you can go really large, but was overkill for me, couldn't ask for any better results.

Is this the one you are running?

This is awesome price but CJ doesn't seems to ship to AU. I will try and give them a call. The mark up here is massive most of the time.

Reach out to lethal performance, they can probably hook you up with shipping to Australia. Even if it cost like 100 bucks, id still do it myself. Especially if you cant seem to get anything else down there.

there group page on here

their representative, I have done a bit of business with them, been great to me.
