For the past week my battery has been dying I wasn’t able to start my car .I have a battery charger , after charging it and driving I parked it in the garage and it sat for 2 days. Tried to start the car , didn’t start… I jumped started it and drove for about 5-10 mins to the store. Again Car didn’t start at the store and had to jump start again. Is my battery just down for now? My car is a 2021 GT so the battery is at least 3 years old. And battery recommendations?

Charge it fully then drive immediately to an auto parts store. Most will load test your battery for free.
Your stock battery is a "96R" size. Unfortunately there aren't a huge number of choices for that size. Any of the good, name brand batteries will be fine. The Walmart batteries are pretty good for the price and what I generally opt for since Walmarts are everywhere if it needs exchange or warranted. Interstate is another really good brand. But really, there are only a few battery manufacturers out there and those just private label batteries for others.

If near a Costco get one of their Interstate batteries. H5(47) AGM battery fits also. Cost $185.

From what I'm reading the H5(47) has the same foot print (within 1/16") and is 5/8"-3/4" taller, posts on the same side.
Does that extra height cause interference with the cover/lid?
That seems like a very good price for an AGM battery.

The cover fits over mine with a very slight bulge. I went to the AGM because I have a highly upgraded audio system plus a dash camera with park mode. Costco has a no-questions-asked 3-year warranty. You take it out if it fails and they give you a new one within the warranty period.

With gentle use of a heat gun and some plastic forming skills the battery cowl cover can be reformed to fit perfectly. I installed the H5 Interstate from Costco about a year ago.

I just put in a 96 NAPA legend, $200 OTD. Don t overthink it.
Reminder to do the battery (BCM) reset. Simple, takes 30 seconds and can be found here or u tube.

Anyone get a battery through AAA? I've done so in the past, but in both cases the battery didn't last the full 3 years that they cover it, had to have them swap it out again. What's your grade?

I haven't ever used them.

Just about every brand has gone to a 3yr free replacement with no prorated warranty afterwards. I have had good luck with the Wal Mart Ever Start Maxx and the Sam's Duracell batteries...they are everywhere with good hours, if you need a replacement. Just keep up with the receipt.
