Its not in the manual, and you completely misunderstood my seat question lol.
oh, I understood it. I was providing the reciprocal answer - the one you didn't ask. Ie. keep the seat going full-back on shutdown, but how to bring it forward before you try to stab the clutch pedal. That was the more sensible solution because egress ease is more useful.
:)

and it's on page 138 of your owner's manual.

I saw a video where a guy with a M1 had all of his mymode settings customized. Tune, ride, steering, and exhaust where all different. But all I can change in mymode is steering and exhaust. Is that it or am I missing something? I thought the ride was customizable too no?

So then what I said still applies, if it has memory seats, then it has the assigned key fob feature also. If you just have power seats, then you don't get the assigned fob, you must the memory seats to get it.
My question wasn't about the memory seats or the fob. It was about stopping the car from AUTOMATICALLY retracting the seat all the way back when you turn shut off the ignition. My last car was an automatic so this was never a problem before. But now when I get back in I cant push in the clutch. Thanks to "I bleed ford blue" for pointing out you can turn that feature off.

The car does not return the seat all the way back to its programmed position when you push the ignition. It only goes halfway back.

There is a setting in the vehicle menu that will allow you to turn off the easy exit feature. You could just hit the programmed memory position to get the seat exactly where you want it and retain the Easy Exit feature. Thats what I do….

I found it. You have to go into display settings and turn it on under the tach option. It's not real intuitive.
Ryan, I’m really excited for you and I hope you’re really enjoying your car. But, I have to tell you, I have never seen anyone have more questions than you. This thread seems to go on and on for what seems like forever. Did you drive your parents nuts when you were a kid?😂

For some reason, it's a glitch in the programming, it only does that on S 550's. All other Ford vehicles that have memory seats, it works flawlessly. Just turn off the easy entry/exit and set it and forget it. Just wait until you get the dreaded mirror spasms. Sometimes when you press a memory button and the seats move to their setting the mirrors will also do their thing, suddenly one of the door mirrors will spaz out and get stuck in the all the way up or down position and keep trying and it skips teeth on the drive for the mirrors. The mirror goes thru a brain fart in the programming and forgets what to do. When it happens, just push the memory button again and it will stop. This is another glitch that is across the board on Ford vehicles, but more common on S550's

In the GT (assume M1 the same) make sure MY MODE is turned on. While in MY MODE toggle to whatever mode you like (Sport/Track etc) chose your Steering and Exhaust mode, then hold OK to save. You can see this info in the center of the digital display when in MY MODE

Another option is to program number 3 memory to the location you want for exit and still turn off the Easy Exit but you will have to hit your Memory Position to get it back to your preferred position on re-entry

Yeah I tried that, but it says I can't change the steering or exhaust while in sport mode.

Maybe the M1 is like that, someone else will chime in. Thats the way my wifes Ecoboost is while in Sport Mode, so frustrating. Maybe I'm missing something.
