Interior Temperature sensor

Does anyone know why my sync 3 screen would be reading the outside temperature instead of the interior temperature, also the interior sensor is still in tact and plugged in.

This is just the way Ford does it for every iteration of Sync, there is no way to change it either unfortunately. I have had the same thought sometimes though, especially being in the southwest in the middle of summer.

They all read the outside temp. Sensor is in the grill on top of the bumper impact bar so it can also get some radiant heat from the radiator if you aren't moving along. And it doesn't read the true temp for a while after startup.

I dont think I have ever seen a car that gives you the interior temperature.

Nobody needs to know the interior temperature unless you're trying to grill ribeye's.

I just want to know when the interior temp sensor will have the output for engine grilling temp - because I gotta keep pulling over to see when my steaks are done cooking on the engine:

The way we drive? I hope you like your chicken extra cripy! The turbo might make a good seared ahi once you arrive though.
