Hey everyone! Just bought a 2020 GT350 with 120 miles on it (already put another 200 on in my first two days of ownership) and I was wondering if anyone has replaced the stock shift knob with the Bulllit white and black knob! (Also looking for a thread about changing interior dome lights if anyone has the link)

The MT-82 (BULLITT) and the TR-3160 (GT350) use a different thread size/pitch for the shifter handle. The MT-82 uses a 12x1.25mm thread pattern, while the TR-3160 uses a 10x1.25mm pattern. There might be an adapter that you can get, or you might be able to retap it?

Ah okay understood! If their is a adapter I would be willing to change it but itā€™s not the end of the world if I just keep it stock (it does match some interior elements), appreciate the reply!

You can get an adapter on amazon for a few bucks.

I threw a microfiber towel over oem knob. Then use a rubber strap wrench to unscrew knob. This really worked well. Rubber straps kept me from damaging the leather on oem knob.

Once you have the knob off, might as well just install the MGW shifter. Only a few more steps.......

I tried several Ford OEM knobs including the OEM GT350 knob, but the Bullitt one was the heaviest of them all (close to 225 grams). As people above mentioned that they are not interchangeable without an adapter.

seriously though you are kidding right? taking the shift knob off is maybe just 5% of the work needed to install the MGW shifter

If Iā€™m not mistaken, the Mach 1 shift knob should work Without an adapte.
