So i have installed the interchiller on my 2019 whippled mustang on e85. The iats are colder and the supercharger is cold as well but it should be colder. When i activate drag mode the supercharger gets significantly colder but the IAT2 stays the same. The system should be colder than it is so I am confused on why even when the supercharger is significabtly colder to the touch the IAT2s aren't moving anymore down.

How much coolant do you have in the reservoir? The more the better with a chiller.

What temps are you getting?

Its just the stock tank currently. Im sitting at 90-100 iat2 sitting idling. I dont have everything insulated yet tho. But when I turn drag mode on the supercharger itself feels significantly colder but iat2 doesnt change

I understand that you want it to be lower and it should go down, but if your IAT's are are at 90-100, you are getting full timing. I don't believe it's going to make any more power if the IAT2's go lower than that.

IAT2 should be noticeably lower than ambient with a interchiller, should it not?

Without the interchiller it would have been 150-160 sitting at idle on a warm day. So its definitely a lot cooler, but the drag valve being on should direct all the power yo cooling the supercharger and the IAT2 should drop even lower. What doesnt make sense is the supercharger IS colder by a large amount but IAT2 doesnt drop any lower when drag valve is on.
