What's odd is my Toyota Corolla is higher than my Mustang by $90!

But I pay $1155 for both cars every 6 months. Once my divorce is final and the Corolla becomes my daily I should be paying a lot less.

I understand this. If I hit someone and they sue past limits of insurance, I could loose my house if I had one. Since I don't have one any more, I don't own anything for them to come after. That was my point. I still carry 50/100/50 coverage and not just the state minimum of 15/30/5.

But then you would have a lien meaning if you get any money, you owe it.

Quoted an extra 80/month for a GT in KY. 36 and married. That would put us at like 2,300 a year including an explorer and tacoma. I had a ticket a few years ago.

okay this is weird I had a totaled car, 2 tickets, I'm 22 as well and have USAA. I love my EB but insurance was one of the things that originally swayed my decision to EB over GT

I have 300/500 with $500 ded and every option available car replacement assistance, towing etc and pay $850/ 6 mths

personally I can't afford $800 more a year and on top of that gas

my quote for GT was right around what you pay

Here's a fun fact: My current car (see "Drives") costs more to insure than my previous Mustang (2013 GT/CS) did. FYI, the GT/CS was over double the price, too.

Same coverage, same everything...go figure.

Damn, I feel sorry for a lot of you here! I pay $1200 a year for full blown coverage all the options for my 2016 GT Premium PP and my wifes 2016 Kia Sportage.
