I have a 2019 GT I did an IMRC delete and installed Holley EFI fuel rail. Notice later I had left the insulators off underneath my intake manifold. Just left them off. Now I’m working with my tuner remotely doing some data logs and he notice my knock sensor values have been “0” on my data logs. I’m new to data logging. I told him I’d check to see if my connectors are secure even the ones going to the main harness. Everything is connected. Is there any relation to me not having those insulators on? My car is a base GT. Thanks for any help. Second question any reason why the knock sensors value is “0”?

When you say insulators, are you referring to the foam pieces that sat atop the factory fuel rails between the coolant lines?

Anything in the engine bay that "touches" can potentially effect knock sensors...hell my downpipes touching the front bumper (being plastic) was causing false knock in my logs until I secured it out of the way.

I would think reading "0" means no knock detected or no timing being pulled...

Again, what insulators are you referring to?

The foam insulators are there to muffle the ticking noise that DI injectors make. 0 knock value means that the sensors are not detecting knock, and are not pulling timing. If the knock sensor connectors were not plugged in, you would get a P0325 or P0330, or something similar for an open circuit.

You could probably test to see if the knock sensors are online by generously tapping on the exhaust manifold with a long extension while the engine is running, and viewing live data

Or, are you talking about the foam insulators that go oever the fuel rails? (blue)

The two black foam rubber blocks under the intake manifold where the lower injectors are. Not the two black foam rubber pieces that are sandwich between the coolupper fuel rail
