Does anyone else find it annoying that the instrument cluster lights will not go completely dark when the headlights are turned to OFF? I prefer to use the ON/OFF switch instead of AUTO mode, but my wife is used to leaving them in AUTO on her car; so I'm afraid that when she uses my car she might forget to switch on the headlights. I've tried to just leave them set to AUTO but they cycle on and off frequently at certain times of the day. Is there a way to solve this?

Turn it to auto when you leave so it will be ready for her when she drives the car.

And I totally know what you mean about the cycling. I drive through freeze and the dang thing is always switching on and off.

I can turn the "daytime" setting all the way down, but not off, still to bright. I'd be ok with just leaving it in AUTO but I don't like the cycling. As far as I can tell this is something that I can't change. Just mostly wondering if anyone else doesnt like the way it's set up.
