Instrument Cluster Lights

Anyone noticed the dim on the instrument cluster lights are really low? Its not bright enough for daylight. Mine is all the way up but still lacking. Is this common guys? Cheers.

I'm not clear on what you mean. How/what is not bright enough to see in daylight.

Perhaps he means the ambient lighting. It's not too bright nor I believe is it meant to be seen much in the daytime.

Instrument panel on the dash. It is not bright enough, i think zombie also addressed this issue before. Thanks.

If it's like my GM, when I have the headlights on, the instrument cluster lights are dimmer than when the headlights are off. Probably because with the headlights on the sensor thinks it's night and dims the instrument panel. Have you turned off the headlights and checked the IPC to see if it is any brighter?

The lighting just goes on at night. There's some basic illumination but it's not the same lighting. Dim would have no effect on daytime lighting.
