Hey all, noticed this today and I know its a little nitpicky but was wondering if anyone else had this issue yet.

Seems the panel thats right above the instrument gauges on the drivers side was coming up slightly from its molding. See images below (apologies for dirty windshield, just got back from a drive through the desert).

Now, i'm not sure whether or not to bring this up when I get the brake squealing issue fixed that theres a thread going on about, but my assumption is this panel comes up when they need to access the electronics inside the instrumentation panel. Also, I noticed if I press down on it firmly it is less noticeable but there's still an edge coming up that bothers me ><.

That is normally where the collision warning lights go. Maybe just warped from the heat, but I would bring it up

I just looked at mine, and the left side corner is just a hair higher than the dashboard surface, and the right side corner is a little bit below the dashboard surface. I'm thinking may guys will find the left side a bit higher than the right side, but yours seems to be sticking up a bit too much above the dashboard surface. There has been no heat here, so I just think this piece of interior trim just doesn't sit/fit perfect with the cutout in the dash.

Ya, I thought it was up a bit more than I was comfortable with. After pushing firmly it has gone down a lot more than that and is now just slightly raised, but it was very noticeable until I did that. I think temperature might have an effect on how bad it gets but I'll bring it up if it keeps happening or gets worse, just thought i'd point it out as this is the first interior nuisance I've noticed with mine so far.

I think the mold is just a hair off on that plastic piece, so the LH corner sticks up a little bit. I'm betting the LH corner always sticks up more then the right ... maybe to offset the LH corner of the rear window being lower than the RH side. j/k :D

When I'm sitting in the car, I don't think I can even see that piece because it's down some on the slope of the dash.

It's just like that in my car too, I'm tall enough that I can see it when driving, it really bugs me.

I wonder if that piece comes out by itself, or does the whole dash have to come out to replace it?

If you look at it from outside the car above the area and around the crease it looks like the piece comes up by itself, though not sure if it comes entirely out or not.

Same problem from day one! This might be one of the reasons of driver side dash rattle, mine is exactly the same in the picture, driver side higher. I wonder if you fully push that thing towards the foam piece and it will absorb the vibrations and rattles better! Cause it seems it is touching the hard plastic portion of the dash too!

I'm wondering if that piece can be removed by itself easily (not sure), and if so the raised end of that tab might be able to be heated up carefully with a heat gun while out of the car and made to lay flat.
