I need to install a real oil temp gauge to monitor oil temps during HPDE events. (Note: For those reading this and wondering, why not just look at the oil temp in the gauge display? That is an inferred, or calculated, oil temp. Not an actual temp. Same for V8 and Ecoboost. Search for threads discussing this.) I'd be interested in hearing what others may have done in this regard. I have the Mishimoto oil cooler installed, so I can use the NPT port on the sandwich plate for the temp sender. Curious about what gauges people selected, how they wired them, and where they wound up placing it in the car.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Whenever I get to this, I would also do the Mishimoto kit and run the gauge wire off the sandwich plate. I will likely add an A pillar gauge from Glow Shift

Hope this helps

Yep, I already have the Mishimoto oil cooler with sandwich plate installed. I was curious how people wired it all, i.e., where they chose to tap power, etc.
