My guess they work in the engineering or QA team and they take these things on road trips to literally get #s on everything with the car.Do these people all work for Ford?
My parents were in Detroit (Dearborn)for the big Fairlaine event last week. Friday morning my dad out to get coffee and came back to their hotel, the Adoba Hotel, and low and behold that same Mustang was out front and the guy was checking in. My dad talked with him briefly and let him know his son (me) ordered a 15GT fastback. Dad said the guy wasn't that talkativeNice. GT Premium without PP and with 20's.
Also, it's the same one from a few posts up...same license/dealer plate

Yeah...makes sense. Would be nice if there was something we could sign up for to be a "beta" tester of something for them! That would be sweet!! I'd "test" it all right! My guess they work in the engineering or QA team and they take these things on road trips to literally get #s on everything with the car.
You know it wouldn't be a bad idea to have select members of the general public beta test the new Mustang. There are things we probably would catch that might not normally show up in regular testing. Ford if you're listening I'd be happy to test and would provide valuable feedback.Yeah...makes sense. Which is funny when you think about it. The line lock reduces the wear and tear associated with a car the does a burnout without the feature and still under warranty.Don't forget if you use the line lock, voids the warranty!!
