Why the Ingot silver so under estimated?

I don't see anything wrong with Ingot, it's just not my bag and I can't fathom wanting such a plain "color". But then again vanilla is the most popular flavor of ice cream and the Corolla is the best selling car in the world.

Lucky for everyone Ford has 10 colors to choose from (12 with the LEs). Can't have too many TY cars out there, I want mine to stand out!

So you think a cop who's been looking at cars all day will see a red or a silver easier ?

For some reason cops noticed my car more after I painted it black, even though it was a flashy red with black racing stripes before. :doh:

Silver's the perfect color for a Toyota Camry. For a Mustang, not so much.

...that's the first time I've ever seen a GT without stripes. It makes me feel weird.

Silver is more of a tuff color just not as flashy as other colors. Many times I have been told that this is the best looking tone for the GT they have seen,from other GT owners as well. One thing I can tell you let me take you for a ride,with over a thousand HP with 3.90 gears one thing it is defiantly not is boring.

I'm struggling to decide between Ingot and Magnetic...........sometimes Ingot is just so right

This picture and the pictures that Spartan shared have caused me to change my order from Magnetic to Ingot. Very happy with that change

I have an Ingot ordered also but still am not sure, Magnetic looks good in person. I wish Ingot was just a little darker. But I'm going to stick with it.

Okay I have to admit that it looks absolutely gorgeous in that picture. Perhaps I've just been seeing bad pictures like this one, where it looks pretty anonymous in a sea of grays and blacks:
