Were other people gathering around and staring at it in awe, or was it just a regular day getting gas?

I don't know. I didn't stick around to find out. I had a trailer on and had swung back in to the gas station just to grab a few quick drive by pics. I didn't want to block any pumps and I had some business to take care of. I wish I would of had a little more free time, as I would have gotten more and better pics and spoke with who ever was driving it. Still though I was pumped to get to see one before they hit dealer lots.

Nice. GT Premium without PP and with 20's.

Also, it's the same one from a few posts up...same license/dealer plate

My parents were in Detroit (Dearborn)for the big Fairlaine event last week. Friday morning my dad out to get coffee and came back to their hotel, the Adoba Hotel, and low and behold that same Mustang was out front and the guy was checking in. My dad talked with him briefly and let him know his son (me) ordered a 15GT fastback. Dad said the guy wasn't that talkative :). He did say the exhaust sounded really good for a factory car.

This car is really making the rounds :D:headbang:

My guess they work in the engineering or QA team and they take these things on road trips to literally get #s on everything with the car.
Yeah...makes sense. Would be nice if there was something we could sign up for to be a "beta" tester of something for them! That would be sweet!! I'd "test" it all right!

That is a good looking combo, and the silver displays the lines of the body well.

You know it wouldn't be a bad idea to have select members of the general public beta test the new Mustang. There are things we probably would catch that might not normally show up in regular testing. Ford if you're listening I'd be happy to test and would provide valuable feedback.

gimme a v8 gt
i would do the Autobahn testing here in Germany
(you probably know: Jaguar has their own testing labs based on the nuerburgring. and in Addition to the ring the do extensive Autobahn testing:
they say: if a car stands this testing, it will stand anything)
and i can tell by my own experience (for instance my BMW z4 35i: if you go for a Stretch of 30 or 40 miles continously 130mph or more, you will see amazing numbers concerning oiltemp and oilpressure:D)
so gimme a call

Don't forget if you use the line lock, voids the warranty!!

Which is funny when you think about it. The line lock reduces the wear and tear associated with a car the does a burnout without the feature and still under warranty.

Doesn't it only void the warranty if used in a "racing context"? Sure is a legal gray-area if so, but at least there is somewhat of an opening, if so.
