And This is Why I HATE the Black Wheels...
It Looks So Cheap to Me, like it's missing Hubcaps on Steel Wheels or something. It just makes a Gorgeous Car Look Old and Run Down.

This is a terrible quality picture... how can you even construct an opinion based off of that sh*t picture?? Look at the plethora of other great quality pictures in this thread, and you'll see that the tires look fantastic on the silver. Just sayin'... I think they look amazing and my car that's on order is in my signature... it will have the PP tires and be Ingot Silver. It looks beautiful.

Yes that is a Crappy Pic and I have seen All the other Pics and I still stand by My Opinion that the Black Wheels Look like Sh*t to Me. I haven't seen a Single Picture of Any Color 2015 Mustang that looks good with those Black Wheels. But that is MY Opinion. I hope You Love Your Car, but if Ford only Offers Black Wheels on the Performance Pack Eco-Boost I'm Out until they offer an Alternative because I want Everything else included with the PP. I just Cannot Stand the Black Wheels.

Are those cheap generic steel wheels?? Are those just some temporary wheels they are using while field testing the car? Are these for winter use only? I can't tell what size tires, are they 17" ?

Not a fan at all. (just my opinion)

Why not get them re-painted?

I'm not a fan of the gloss black 19's on the GT+PP, but something I can somewhat easily change is not going to stop me from getting the car.

My god man, the person taking these last few pictures is an idiot. Probably too stupid to realize they have a filter on, and if they do know, they are an @$$ for thinking it looks good or other people would want to see these pics with a filter on them

here an example (no matter if the surface is machined or just Looks like it is) where black AND machined make a brilliant looking wheel
Quite honestly, I thought it would look great with the same design as the 20" wheels but when seeing the black wheels along with the silver it just seems to accentuate the sportiness of the car, atfirst I did not like it but now I really see it

Re-Read My Post...

That is a GT with Black GT PP Wheels and Black Interior...

I would like to see the Eco-Boost Gun Metal Wheels on This Picture without the Spoiler and 5.0 Badge because it looks like it has Redline Interior. I know it's Saddle but Looks Red Enough to Me to give me an Idea of how an Ingot Eco-Boost with Redline will look.
Incorrect on the performance package.... those are the 20s which are not offered with the pp in addition to that, those brake rotors are way too small and also the brembos are black with the brembos badging on it as well

Agree... charcoal does the job of hiding brake dust (functional purpose of black wheels) while still giving enough contrast to not look like a set of steelies or winter wheels. Hate that these come standard with the PP.
My hopes are that the brakes will be ceramics. They do not show much dust at all. If they are not ceramic or carbon fiber brembos then I will just wait till they are worn even if it's 75k miles later

The brakes won't be carbon ceramic from Ford. You can easily get ceramic brake pads from companies like Hawk and get much less brake dust. I went through my Brembo pads and replaced them with Hawk ceramics and they are so much cleaner it's crazy. But don't confuse ceramic brake pads with the exotic carbon ceramic brakes, those are very, very different.

Have no clue why they would wait to offer a sunroof. I hope Ford hears complaints from people who will sacrifice just a little performance for better every day enjoyment. I'm not gonna take my car to the track everyday so I'm not concerned about the few extra pounds a sunroof adds. I'd rather have a sunroof to enjoy the nice weather when I'm driving my car everyday and not have to deal with a cloth top drawbacks and also less chassis rigidity.
Personally I don't like glass roof or convertibles... convertibles mainly for the reason it ruins the fastback appearance of the car, two is that they are usually more noisy inside other than the possibility of uv damage and fading, deterioration of the material I commonly see with convertibles. For a sunroof, for obvious reasons of hail even though I am not expecting to be driving this car on those bad days, it's nice just not practical for me let alone a glass roof

I actually looked at a few times making sure I wasn't seeing a hood scoop on there. I forget the year but somewhere in the first years of the "new edge" they did a refresh that had a fake hood scoop which I was never a huge fan of, especially because it wasn't functional....Since I'm not usually a fan of tacked on looking parts I am glad this one doesn't have it.
It's definitely a real hood scoop and not tack on, they are fully functional I hate those myself even with those side ones I see by the doors on the older mustangs, they are totally ugly to me. It reminds me of chevys attempt to compete with the Raptor on the Reaper. Lol

I'm the exact opposite when it comes to a glass roof, the blacked out roof panel looks awesome IMO. As soon as Ford comes out with another glass roof, I will trade my '15 in for it, just hope by then they have cooled Recaro's.

Yeah I can relate after seeing some of those pics. But we all know these are pre-production cars. However, those panel gaps really do cheapen the overall look of the car, regardless of it being a prototype vehicle. I would hate to see Ford revert back to the old days of poor fit & finish with American made cars.

We have come so far. Americans are buying more American made cars now because of the huge improvements in technology, quality/reliability, fit & finish, etc etc

:ford:
I don't see Ford doing that, They have come through so many leaps and bounds beginning in 2006 when I got my F150 super cab FX4. They are on track it seems with Audi.. I remember back in those years that Ford even considered acquiring Audi. Seems like they are following in their footsteps with build quality and materials. That's a huge plus.. also giving more standard options as well. There are not too many options on audi except for some aesthetics and comfort... seems like Ford is doing the same
