Hmmm, I don't get that many ads here. Not on the regular anyway.



While there's truth in that, we don't have to shop with them. Threads like this should serve a heads-up for advertisers to decide if the lost goodwill is worth it.

I've only ordered an MGW from them and didn't have any issue-are you on smartphone? Everything is way, way worse on smartphone i've noticed. Even with adblocker turned off i don't get any popups on beefcake, just a thing on the bottom left asking if i want to save $15 by most likely giving up my email address.

True Story: July 4th, 2025 the Facebook algorithms showed me Texas Speed was running a sale on their Coyote built motors.

I called Beefcake on his personal cell phone during one of the biggest holidays of the year and he dropped everything, matched the price for the built motor from TSP and even allowed me to send him the final payment 1 week later.

The only time I interacted with the beefcakeracing.com website was when we had to make the final payment and Terry sent an invoice.

Highly recommend @beefcake in every way.

Nobody’s perfect you know what the size we are now I have 12 employees to work for me. I have companies that manage the website as far as the advertising and email set ups.

We always welcome feedback, of course

And I will pass this on to my marketing people as well

The biggest difference with me and pretty much every other company in existence is I’m an enthusiast and a racer first I’ve been doing this for 25 years. I’ve been racing.

I even tracked down and brought back my car that got me started and all this 26 years ago last year and restored the car to its original even better than it’s original condition

The other huge benefit with us as we literally take calls there’s someone in the office by about 815 every morning and we usually take calls till about 10 PM at night

Not to mention, I put my personal cell phone out there which is unheard of for a company of our side in this day and age

Always happy to take questions and talk with the guys

Again, I have 12 full-time employees that run the day today plus the company that handles all of our outside marketing and another company handles all email marketing

At the level we are it’s just too hard to monitor ourselves, but I will pass some of this info along and see what we can look at

I agree that I would never like to see it the most one pop-up and be able to close it easily. I was on a site looking at something myself the other day and I literally could not close the pop out until I rotated my phone 90°.

Yep, went looking for a supercharger kit during the labor day sale. After 4 popups. I decided I didn't need a supercharger. If I do decide again, I'll just get an ess. Their site is way less hassle than beefcakes.

If it’s during a sale, there’s no reason to have a little $10 coupon to try to grab an email address

While I have no desire to modify my car past what I've already done I appreciate that you are willing to listen, experience what your customer does and act to make it a better experience. It's difficult balancing all aspects of a small business. To try something, find that it's not a good fit and act to correct it is commendable!
