On the premium infotainment screen, is there a way to use the black/darker nighttime backgrounds during the day or all the time?

Thank you. Did not notice that option. Here you go. Just push the link.
Ugh... I wish the programmers would have left the dark mode like the original dark mode which was black/white/gray theme. That blue dark mode is just ugly (imo). Has anyone figured a way to revert it back to black using Forscan?
Yes, you can change it to the Lincoln screens which are black. There was a thread on this years ago.Ugh... Has anyone figured a way to revert it back to black using Forscan?
1. The old version (3.0) cannot be rolled back. Once you are on the blue theme you are stuck with it though there are unofficial ways to alter the new versions.Ugh... Perfect. Thanks for posting Todd.1. The old version (3.0) cannot be rolled back. Once you are on the blue theme you are stuck with it though there are unofficial ways to alter the new versions.
2. Use the Linclon theme.
It's primarily black and shades of grey. This can be done with Forscan. I ran with this for a while. It's very nice but there are references to Lincoln in some of the menus. Looks like this on the Mustang (washed out due to morning sun):
A better pic but a different car:
Forscan codes to enable Lincoln black theme:
First line has to be set to Lincoln (8)
Leave Mustang animation as is (6)
Lincoln Timeless is the only code that worked to change the theme (2)

7D0-02-01 xxxx x6xx xxxx (leave this one at 6)
7D0-03-01 xxxx x2xx xxxx
After your APIM restarts you can go to display settings and chose NIGHT mode. Go look at the background colors and pick your favorite shade of darkness. One thing I did notice is the toggle option for mobile apps seems to be turned off. Android Auto works just fine.
3. Install F-Mods hack to jailbreak your APIM. It's very easy.
You just need 3 different flash drives.
@Gnatsum21 did a great How-to: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/how-to-change-background-in-sync-at-your-own-risk.169151/
That's what I did. You can then install custom themes or just a simple custom background loader. There are other mods you can install too like on-demand backup camera and video player or do custom flash screen animations. I did the background loader. This is with the standard blue menu:
Here are a few of the possible themes you can load from F-Mods:
Dark Grey theme:
Night Mode
Day Mode:
Rounded Corners Theme:
Night Mode:
Day Mode:
Aqua Glow Blue:
