What happened to the twin turbo I was hearing about?

Zo6 is great but let’s remember the thing literally makes zero torque. My stock 392 makes 15 more, granted that’s part of the engine design but the zo6 will not be that impressive from a roll, I bet a gt500 will take it.

Maybe, however, I don't think Chevy was really aiming to ruin the dreams of the "Let's roll, 1-2-3-" crowd....
True it’s a track car and a very good track car I’m sure.

My gut tells me it will be a track monster.

Weight is not too bad if it stays inline with present car.
HP is very good for that weight.
Aero is strong.
Torque while nothing fantastic will aid less experienced or less confident drivers coming out of corners so the correct end stays in the planned direction. Even when tires get worn.

Overall looks like Chevy is strongly gunning for the exotics and this could be a destroyer of almost all of them with price tags 2-5 X what this will sell for.

Could a good driver in a car not setup as well match or beat this one, most definitely.

Time will tell but let’s all try to approach at least one topic with constructive comments. I know ain’t gunna happen.

I agree. I am happy for the automotive community overall.

Still hoping Ford will build a true corvette fighter. Just look at what camaro vs mustang got us... a mustang that runs with a gt3 on a race track.

Real world pricing will be 150k+ or essentially 70k more than I paid for my 500. For an additional 70k it better be a whole lot faster which it appears likely is. Good job Chevy!

It's like they were more or less given free reign on this one, since this is very likely to be the last great NA ICE-only V8 Corvette. Savor it.
