According to Ford's marketing department(who I spoke to recently about test drives they scheduled starting September 20th) they scheduled these test drives based on a late September availability. Although they didn't sound very confident in that prediction.

If anything, the dealership in question got a demo vehicle.

No consumer cars have shipped yet, only dealer demo vehicles and press review vehicles.
