IMRC LOCKOUT - WON'T START

Did the IMRC lockout got the updated tune from Lund. Looks like everything's reconnected correctly. Loaded the tune but now it won't start.

It cranks and occasionally will catch a little bit for a second but it won't run.

Gas smell is very strong, don't see any leaks anywhere around the injectors or around the fuel rail.
(Did the clear out procedure for flooded engines, that didn't help. Let it sit for over an hour and came back and it fired again but just for a second.)

Hopefully I'm missing something simple and somebody will be able to get me a hint here.

It won't hurt having a tune loaded that is meant for IMRCs enabled, when you have them locked out. It's literally just little flaps inside the manifold. It should still start. It may not run good, but it should start.

There's so many newbs on HPT forums trying to tune their cars with IMRCs locked out physically on their car, but never change it in the tune. So yes, flash it back to stock and see if it will start. If it does. Your Lund tune is broken.

Now if you changed injectors or something, then no don't try the stock tune.

There is no reason to lock out CMCV/IMRC on a NA car. It's a solution looking for a problem. What they do is increase velocity and swirl in the intake ports and combustion chambers. This gives a torque boost at low RPM, also increases fuel economy if that is a concern.

On the manifold I'm currently tuning for I was going the wrong direction, I thought opening them earlier would improve low speed performance but testing showed they add tq up to 3300 RPM. Opening them below 3300 lost power. WOT and part throttle.
