We've been hearing about Mustang owners having issues wih body panel alignment .
So i'm wondering if Ford will actually readjust or whatever they have to do for the start of the 2016 Mustang production to make sure that this problem gets corrected on the production line.
Bare with me as i know nothing about mass produced cars.

Anybody in the know !

There has been over 100k 2015 Mustangs built. I think the problem is limited and more exposed on a forum such as this.

My car was built on 11/24/14 and is 100% spot on.

That's good to hear.

I've got a Black GT 5.0 Auto on order (although when we're finally going to see them in Australia is another matter!) and every picture I see of an S550 I'm checking out the panel alignment.

Some cars are really good, others are woeful.

On our Forums in Australia we also tend to hear more about things going wrong and they turn out to be the exception rather than the rule.

They are cranking them out fast, and if you see videos of the assembly line those people don't have a lot of time to be picky on how things get assembled. And hard to say how many people get turned over to do new assembly tasks along the way, or if someone is sick and someone else has to substitute maybe they don't have it down perfectly. So yeah, there will be variations just due to the specific day of production, and the people working the lines that day.

The sample here on the forum is a slice of data that is giving an indication of what's going on with delivered cars. I doubt only M6G members get cars with issues.

I think it's a matter of very early builds, and also a matter of interpretation of satisfactory build quality among auto enthusiasts.

I'm well aware this car is mass produced on an assembly line, not a hand built limited production Rolls Royce. Some buyers may not be as realistic.

Of course not only M6G members get issues.
But we're also likely to be more picky than the average buyer. Go look at the stats on what we order compared to mustang-in-general numbers to see that we don't match the average.

My car was built in May and it has problems. They have made improvements but they're still not perfect

My car was built in December and is 90% fine, body-alignment-wise.

I have the weird rear window thing and a VERY slight trunk alignment issue. Everything else inside and out is perfect.
ford will replace the rear window if you go take it in... they just ordered my window replacement... waiting for it to come in before installing

I have a March build and it is pretty good. If you go looking for problems on mine, you'll see some deficiencies, but overall it's not like I've had any onlookers/coworkers/admirers comment about it. The only negativity I've received about my car is that the exhaust is too quiet.

If you don't mind me asking: What exactly is wrong with the window to cause it to be a bit lopsided?
