Very nice write up. I plan to get to that show one year....truly on the list. Interesting on the 350. It does seem that Ford left very little room for upgrades, or the normal batch of upgrades for the car. It just seems so different and capable from factory. I am glad I purchase one, as I still have a smile on my face when I drive mines.
Exactly. The best thing you can do with this car is spend your money getting seat time on track.
Are these new Lloyd Mats and is it supposed to be for our car?

The shape of the mat looks like it's for another car, it's nothing like the shape of our OEM mat.

When looking at the mat the same thoughts crossed my mind. Maybe it was just an example since they didn’t have the final shape finished. Either way it was listed as a part for the 350
Third gen Camaros trying to make a comeback??! My first car was actually an '86 IROC-Z. I'm digging that!

By far the best looking example I’ve ever come across. Oddly enough a buddy of mine just bought an IRock to yank the drivetrain from. Having thoughts about buying the shell and doing something similar to this.
Nice writeup; I guess at SEMA there was a new upgraded stroked (to 5.4) Voodoo FPC engine from MAST Motorsports and Cortex racing. Stroked, new crank & rods, pistons, dry sump, bigger TB, and SuperSnake Intake. HP numbers not yet released:

Good info. Can’t wait see and hear that thing breathe. Kind of upset now that I’ve missed it. Next year there will be more time devoted to seeing everything

I like to disassemble things.
Good stuff T. Glad you finally got to see it all. Great shots - you've gotten pretty good at this thing. Keep up the good work my friend.

Ford had a few track attack cars at their trailer handling all the drift cars. It was reported they were used for some drifting displays with Ford VIP’s, but I didn’t get to see it.
My buddy, Don, said he saw this on Thursday and that it was pretty cool.

It was recommended that anyone looking to upgrade the performance of their GT350 on track should consider the springs, sway bars, and DSC controller. For the R it was recommended not changing any suspension components, but utilizing the DSC. **Disclaimer – This was a casual conversation I had with this representative, so take that for what it’s worth**
Good info! Thanks for sharing!!

Great pictures by the way.

Thanks for the write up, and superb photos.

SEMA is bonkers.....went for the first time last year and had a blast.

The Ringbrother's AMC was superb. Never been a fan of these muscle cars, but these boys have nailed it here. Absolutely superb.

Car of the show for me, though, was the wide body SuperSnake. You've captured a great angle here :headbang:

Looks like the wide-body was on its way to take care of some important business...

They had photos of this car actually being used on track, which impressed me. Some of the other cars on bags and wide body kits that we’re not ever intended to see track time didn’t do it for me, but i can respect the passion.

The Vibe:
Vegas is a crazy city. This was my first time there and I was not sure what to expect. On the strip things were a little quiet, and that might have been due to the day of the week and time of year. I also would venture to guess the city is still recovering from the tragic event at Mandalay Bay. May those who passed away rest in peace. The other thing of note is that Vegas is a total SAUSAGE FEST due to all the dudes in town for the show. If you are attending and looking for hot chicks all over, you will be disappointed.
Just to chime in on the Vegas part, haha. We're diehard fancy of the city; got married there, have been there 4 times in the last 6 years, which is nothing compared to some of the people on https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/index.php

1 - It's usually pretty busy, from the strip to the hotels but Friday and Saturday nights are the party nights and parties happen at hotels with Clubs and (when pools are open) pools. Goto any Vegas hotel during pool season (April - September ish) and you'll find girls. Same for the clubs - try to get into one or go on a club tour (we did this earlier this year) and you'll find girls. Expect to buy them drinks, lol - but you'll find them.

2 - F' the shooter. We almost always stay at Mandalay Bay and next time I go, I'll stay there again. By far the best pools on the strip (only pool complex with sand, in the middle of the desert no less - making it like a beach). It's at the end of the strip closest to the airport so it also never gets random foot traffic from people just walking, but close enough to walk to the monorail or etc... Theres Uber / Lyft now, so getting from 1 end of the strip to the other is no big deal.

3 - Sema is end of October / early November - It's neither pool season nor a holiday. If not for the conventions, not a whole lot of reason to go = low tourist count (or your a degenerate gambler, and that's ok, but those people don't leave the casino floor, hahaha)

Didn't mean to thread jack :) But if you basically want to go to Disney Land for Adults, go Mid May / Early June or Mid September. During those times it's not OMG THE HEAT but it's also hot enough to enjoy the pools and is pretty busy / not so many kids (why the f' you'd bring kids to a city known for it's casinos, drinking and prostitution, I'll never know)

Next time you go, book a tour with the guys at Exotic Car Tour - won't be disappointed (my review - https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/f...-mandalay-bay-anniversary-vacation-tr.141420/)

sorry - love vegas. had to chime in :) Awesome car pics!

Nice overview Buddy. But what dawned on me as I read it was just how far that white car with blue stripes has taken you.
