In years past, there’s been a lot more buzz here on SEMA...not so much this year.

Is it the maturing GT350 platform? Nothing new and exciting? Are folks heading out? Who’s there, who’s going? What are you seeing? There’s got to be some interesting things, events???

The GT350 hasn't had much aftermarket love. Mainly because it's so good in stock form. Hence why there isn't much of any news in regards to aftermarket support. All the basic upgrades are already covered.

That and risking the warranty on an $18k engine. Would love to put Kooks headers on mine but then a tune is needed and not a chance in hell Im risking the warranty with a tune.

Has the price gone down for our motors? A year or so ago, I saw it online for about $25k. In the same boat as you, I'm warrantied to the max for my car, no way in hell I'm risking my motor.

THE show is overwhelming. So much to see and so many cars. Unfortunately there are not many GT350’s here. Maybe 2-3. The aftermarket is moving toward the 18 MY GT. Made some good connections though that I might be able to bring back to our scene.

I've been poking around on various sites trying to see if there is anything worth while for me to spend my moneys on. So far best thing IMO is a 360 degree dash cam.

And they should since the GT is a better platform for mods. If you think about it one of the reasons you buy a GT350 is that it's a Ford Performance turn-key specialty Mustang. Where people tend to buy the GT and Eco as a blank slate to customize in their own way.

Depends on what dealer you deal with. The dealer I go to has modded Mustangs themselves. I have had no issues or now in the pass having things done and being modded. My 11 Shelby made 700+ rwhp and I never had a issue with them.

Now I will admit, I do most things myself, but the one time I did go for the 11 trannie issue, no problems.
