I'm stupid (drag mode)

So I bought my new Mustang GT 10 speed auto with Performance Pack 1. Took it home and decided to try out drag mode.

Couldn't find it. You probably know where this is going.

Found out drag mode only comes with the 2k convenience package or whatever its called, the one with the 8" display.

Guess I should have done better research, I thought it came standard on all models, especially one with the performance pack. After all, it is called the "performance pack", should come with performance options like drag mode, right?

Well, too late now. Just wondering how this will affect me drag racing. I keep reading conflicting reports on whether or not a tune will help.

I'm not even sure about those codes. I got the base model with PP1, nothing else.

But it looks like I can get something similar with a tune. If that's the case then nothing lost.

Tune will sort you out. I have base 300A with PP and A10. My sport mode on the shifter in (auto) is drag mode. Tuner can make it how you want. Without a tune you will not get the wot shifts. Fyi.

I did not order my car but got it used. However I had no doubt a GT "premium" with 8" display and Sync 3 etc etc had to have Nav in there right? Well, it looks like it is hidden real well (lol). Oh well, there is a Waze around it......

I've been wondering why I could not find Drag Mode on my 19GT PP1. I can't believe Ford didn't install it! The "burn out" app is there, but not the Drag Mode.

You have to have 301a for the selectable drive modes.
