Well, I sold my 2016 Premium EB Vert in June 2022 and have missed it ever since that impulsive act. I was seduced by the money; i.e got a great offer and went for it after a long arduous losing fight with Ford corporate regarding the paint bubbles on the hood of my 2016. Couldn't stay away from a Mustang convertible for long and this last Friday scored a 2020 EB Premium Convertible. Iconic Silver, Ebony Leather, 52,000 miles in Pristine condition. I already feel 10 years younger.

A 2020 with that many miles on it already? Wow! Someone sure likes to drive it.

I only drive about 6-7,000 miles per year. It should be getting a breather for a while. Also, thinking about getting the Ford Premium Ext'd warranty to help my wallet sleep at night.

Thanks for the heads up, but it appears from their website they don't offer there warranties to those of us in Florida. FL is not on their list, very strange. I will be calling in morning to confirm.

Thanks again

That’s correct, something about FL insurance law prevents them from selling there. I think they have to have a physical location in FL to sell there

Congrats OP! I'm sure you made a bunch selling your 2016 convertible in 2022 during the height of the car prices. Now hopefully you didn't overpay for your 2020 convertible. Enjoy! Happy for you. 🍻

I've read in Florida an "extended warranty" is "insurance" and you have to be licensed in Florida to sell it. I got Ford Ext Warranty thru Ford directly via the 800# in owners manual. Still saved considerably over what any local dealer wanted.

52,000 / 4 years isn't too bad. 13K miles a year.

You are correct on both points. In 2022 got $25,000 trade-in for the 2016 with 66,000 miles. Last week got $21,300 trade in on a 2010 370Z with 23,000 miles. Out the door price on this 2020 was $22,700. It was a no brainer for me.

Anderson Koch - extended warranty.

If you use others, make sure you fine tooth comb the paperwork- once they have your money.

As long as the price was congruent on your EB purchase w/those miles. Your likely better off w/battle tested,
vs low mileage, & unknown possibilities while gettin to 36k or 50k.
What in life, besides a wife, when aquiring used, do you not want battle tested? 😆

Congratulations! Enjoy that top down feeling you just cant get w/o the rag roof.

Did you post details about your previous paint/warranty issues? 🤔
