If you don't mind, listen to the OneDrive mp4 file (only 19secs link below). The typical routine the GT350 takes when I turn off the ignition has changed and now there is a high pitched squeak. Is this something I should get checked out? Anyone else experience this? Thank you for you help. https://1drv.ms/v/s!AtQZ3P0TeeWCkvxCz_OlklVCc25xxQ?e=xkxog1

If you cycle the exhaust valves before start up does it do it? I think it sounds like one of the exhaust valves, maybe needs lubed??

Almost sounds like the exhaust valves cycling, but with a bit of resistance or getting rusty?

Thank you. Can I cycle myself pre startup or is that something that happens automatically? Unfortunately i dont think i have the skill set to lube myself.

You can cycle yourself pre-start just by being in the car (with the key) and stepping on the clutch - you'll hear the valves cycle.

Thank you. I now see the valves cycling and it does appear that the passenger side valve is the squeaker. Maybe I'll try to get some lubricant back there. Separately, anyone else notice exhaust water drip out before the tips on the other side of the muffler, right near the rear tires?

Separately, I'm new to Shelby/Mustang ownership and I have to say, you all are super helpful and I appreciate the existence of this forum.

Try spraying some wd 40 onto the valve. If it ever does stick it will let you know on the dash. Mine was stuck open at delivery would say active exhaust not available. The dealer replaced the entire system.

Do you have a pic of the location of where this is?
This could be normal, especially on startup when the exhaust pipes and mufflers are still cold - it's condensation inside that seeps out, through flanges and through clamps (it's hard to avoid 100%, most cars have this happen) when the exhaust components have not fully expanded yet with heat.

Importantly, most OEM factory mufflers have weep holes in them, to allow this very moisture to escape, and will appear as harmless water drops on the floor.

Below is an example from an OEM F-150 muffler.

Side note: On newer cars with direct injection, there will also be sooty black residue surrounding the area of the hole, which is also normal.

I think I fixed it. WD-40 into the small hole of the module that controls the exhaust valve. Seems to have stopped the squeak.

Thank you for the advice. Really appreciate it.

Good to hear, can also spray valve inside of the exhaust pipe for lower pivot point
