Has anyone ever received id1000 that look like this. ID says the adapter is just on the opposite side and that they will work just fine but they just look really different then the usual ones with purple on them. The guy said to leave the adapter on just the way it is.

I've seen ID1000's that look identical to that before.

My ID1300's were silver. I was surprised, expecting a different color.

years ago, we figrued out that the 1300s, and 1700s and 2000s with the shorter bodies would not sit flush in the intakes, and we would sell different adapters to make them work

id started sending out new adapters so the dual sets didn't need to be purchased seperately they eventually carried these over to the 1000s as well, with the higher placement of the adapter, not necessarily needed, but work just fine

So does that mean I can take the adapters off or do I just leave them on for stock fuel rails and stock manifold.

the adapters make them the same height as the stock injector

there is no reason to take them off

plug and play

pull the old injector out, stick these in and done.

should be 10-15 minutes start to finsih
