You can, but the 1050x's were designed out of all stainless to not corrode like the original 1,000's.

Yes you can run ID1000's on E. I ran them for 3 years and no issues. I switched out to ID1050x when I switched blower setups 6 months ago just to get the added corrosion protection that SS offers. No performance gains from switching. Straight E car.
