I’m honestly torn about the side stripe as well and initial reaction was to remove it. If I do remove it, I was thinking about doing dual racing stripes down the middle. Thoughts?

Thanks for sharing mods as well! I’ll have to check those out!
Dual stripes may look good, depending on how they're designed. I personally prefer no stripes down the middle.

After looking around a lot, and I mean a lot, I've finally decided on some wheels. Since this isn't a dedicated show car, I'm not going to spend thousands on wheels like I did before (previous build wheel budget alone was almost $10k). That left me with deciding between form and function for a reasonable price. Initially I was leaning towards XXR 565s in 20x9 +20 / 20x10.5 +40 in matte black with gloss black lip. I had these on a previous car and loved them, but after reading about people experiences with lower weight wheels, I've decided against them. The XXR's weigh ~35-37lbs... plus beefy tires...oof!

Instead, I have decided to go with a more functional choice that also looks pretty tough/aggressive when the car gets lowered. Given the price for the full setup is the same as the heavy setup, it was kind of a no brainer.

Wheel & Tire Specs:
19x10 +35 285/35/19 Nitto NT555 G2
19x11 +50 305/35/19 Nitto NT555 G2

Just get the wheels and get better tires elsewhere. The Nitto G2’s are trash.

They've also got a package with the NT05s but with the amount of rain we get in Florida I don't want to die hahaha

Honestly you won’t fare much better with the G2’s. Not sure what your budget allows but I’d go for Michelin PS4S or Continental Extreme Contact02. They’re excellent in rain and dry. But I agree with you on the NT05’s in the rain, that’s no bueno

Thanks for the info! I'll price out the Michelin PS4S as well because I had those on my Stinger GT and they hooked up super well.

Got the window tint installed today and it came out great! 50% front windshield and 15% on the very thing else. Ceramic of course to help block heat and keep the interior looking like new for years to come.

Stopped after my morning coffee run to snap a few photos with my phone. I pass by this baseball field often, but it's always got people or cars in the parking lot. This morning I had the place all to myself so I thought I'd take advantage of it.

Window tint looks amazing and really adds to the cars looks. It also keeps the interior so comfortable now vs before when I was driving in a giant heated fishbowl haha.

Let us know what tires you end up going with. I’ve been wanting a set of SVE wheels but there are not a lot of tire choices for a 19x11 wheel. Ideal size is 305/35/19 but some will run 295/35 or 325/30 to avoid having to get the Nittos.

I've been looking at various options and 295/35 is 11.6" wide so that's still perfect for fitting 19x11 and not stretching at all. It opens up a lot more options as well with the top ones being the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02.

A little more budget friendly, coming closer to the Nitto price would be the Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02. Based on what I can tell, reviewers are having a hard time saying one is decidedly better than the other when comparing the Michelin vs Continental.

The Pilot Sport 4S in 295/35 is a Mercedes spec tire but the Continentals would be good. There's also someone on here who runs 285/35 Pilot Sport 4S and rear 305/35 in Pilot Super Sports. Said he's had no issues with that setup.

Gave the car a little photoshop drop treatment to preview what the lowering springs will look like on stock wheels. Also tinted the windows in photoshop since this was taken before the tint.

I am still torn between Eibach Sportlines and Steeda Progressives for lowering springs though. I had the Eibach's on my 2015 and honestly loved the amount of drop and ride quality. I think since I am going with 19s, I'm leaning more towards the Sportlines aggressive drop.

Did a little sunset shoot today for fun and think I got a pretty decent shot. Next up on the mod list is to get the car lowered since that will make a big difference with stock wheels. After that I'll be saving for new wheels and tires. Not really in a hurry since the current setup only has 4,000 miles on them. Cheers!

I personally second the ECS 02, I have the predecessor and I'm pretty pleased with the result. Outside of a Goodyear or Michelin, or Conti I doubt that I can swap from any of these brands now. Maybe Pirelli if they update the Pzero but the Conti is the closest to the ps4s.

I'd also recommend just going square stance unless you are trying to do the staggered stance for shows. You'll actually be able to take advantage of the Asymmetric tread from the ECS02's that way.

Until I have the budget to spend on new wheels and tires, I decided to order some 25mm wheel spacers to make the stock wheels look as good as possible. It's a band-aid fix for sure, and I didn't buy the expensive ones off AM because it's all the same and Amazon has amazing parts for half 1/4 of the cost. They should be delivered this week!

Until then, here are a couple photos from yesterday's sunset shoot. Goal was to capture some of the beauty associated with living near the water on Florida's beautiful Emerald Coast. Hope you enjoy
