Picture this: scorching heat, shade-seeking heroics, and a solo wheel spacer installation show. In the sweltering 90+ degree weather, I faced off against those spacers, armed with nothing but determination and a trusty breaker bar. Not only did it double as a jack handle (mine pulled a vanishing act), but it also moonlighted as a brake-rotating torque wrangler. Let the acrobatics begin!

But wait, the plot twist: my detective skills failed me. I had the wheel specs all mixed up for my GT/CS – thinking the fronts were 19x9 and the rears a saucy 19x9.5. Surprise! They're all-round 19x8.5 squares. Happy accidents, as it turns out, because that saved me from "poke" trouble. The fronts crave a little more flush, but at $90 total spent, I'm one happy camper.

And here's a preemptive shush for the "spacers are unsafe" crowd. Tighten 'em right, give 'em a once-over during rotations – boom, safety achieved. If they can handle the track, they can handle the streets, people!

Stay tuned for more scorching garage adventures – where spacers space and I'm a one-man pit crew. Until the next spin, keep it rubber side down and those smiles up! 🚗💨

(these ChatGPT assisted build entries are wild haha. Hope you find them entertaining)

Time for a fresh update, peeps! 🚗✨

So, I had this itch for uniqueness, and what better way than to black out the roof? 🖤 Local prices were in outer space, so I thought, "Why not take matters into my own hands?" DIY time, baby! 😎

Snagged a whopping 5ftx6ft roll of 3M Gloss Black Film (yep, more than I needed, but go big or go home, right?) and a nifty install kit. It's like arts and crafts for grown-ups, I swear!

Preparation's the name of the game, so I waved goodbye to the shark fin antenna and gave the roof a good scrub-down with IPA. Oh, and let's not forget the knifeless tape action – laid it in the roof channels for some precision cutting later. Like a surgeon, but for cars!

Now, the real show began as I peeled the backing off the film. Cue the dramatic music! 🎶 But wait, plot twist! A neighbor, my knight in shining armor, saw my oh-so-graceful struggle and joined in the fun. Bless his wrapping expertise – turns out he's a wrapping wizard with years of under his belt. Talk about right place, right time!

And that's not all – brace yourselves for the unexpected perks. We met a millionaire, traded tales, swapped contacts, and boom, new friends! Oh, and let's not forget the epic finale – a burnout to celebrate our masterpiece. 🎉🔥

Stay tuned, fam! More adventures, more mods, and more good times coming your way. Until then, keep your rides fresh and your spirits even fresher! 😄🔧🎈 #DIYMasterpiece #CarWrapWizard #BurnoutCelebration

Hey everyone, got another update on the build for you. Ordered the MP Concepts GT500 Style Spoiler with Wicker Bill and it finally arrived. While waiting for it to get delivered I took the time to remove the old spoiler and document as much of the process with photos as I could. It's hard to remember to stop and take a photo along the way but I tried to capture the different milestones of the process. I was a little worried when I removed gromets and saw touch up paint on the holes in the trunk, but then I remembered there isn't a GT/CS special trunk so custom holes had to be used to mount the one-off spoiler for my gen. It makes sense why ford switched to a spoiler in later years that match the PP spoilers.

Anyways, the install was honestly pretty straight forward and yet I still managed to muck it up haha. Used the template and had it off my just enough that I had to drill out the holes slightly larger leading to issues with hardware grabbing enough metal. Ended up using some washers and voila, it was good to go!

Really happy with how it turned out! Still debating on whether to install the wicker bill though, will probably do it after this hurricane blows through.

Looks good! I assume you put some touch up paint or some clear around where you had to drill? If not you should go back and do that otherwise it will rust.

Hey, yeah I went around and touched up all the spots that I drilled with some touch up paint and clear to avoid issues.
