I swear this thing has more random squeaks and rattles than any other new car I've driven, including my old 03 Cobra-which was built (designed?) so poorly that I could literally fit my fingers down to the first knuckle in the space between the a-pillar and the dashboard. After about 200 miles, my 2015 started making a hideous squealing noise from the rear passenger seat area that has been intermittent since. I've also had several other random rattles come and go, including from the dash, center console (2 different areas), and the passenger door. You press one one panel to make one go away, and another pops up somewhere else--it reminds me of whack-a-mole. Ultimately, they're all minor issues, but they're still issues and annoyances. Hopefully they can be fixed easily, if need be.

My car must've been one of the last ones out before the holiday shutdown last year...

Funny, the few I have driven (and one of them a rental that already had 2k miles on it) have been solid as a rock. My 328i is a rattle trap in comparison.

That's odd mine is tight as a drum. Was on some very rough brick/cobblestone streets today and not a squeak, rattle or odd noise to speak of. I'm currently at 2200 miles.

Sorry yours hasn't been the same.

Man, I'm jealous... Hopefully it's nothing a little foam between some panels can't fix, but it still annoys me-especially since squeaks and rattles are one of my car-related pet peeves. I'm not going to lie, it has me a little concerned about what the car will be like when it's got a lot of miles on it. Sometimes when I hit a bump, I'll get squeaks from the back end-perhaps there is an issue in the rear suspension?

I've got the same thing! It sounds like an old mattress on bumps. I haven't had time to take the car to the dealer tho.

Mustang GT with PP and Recaro's and not ONE squeak, rattle, shake, burp, or fart! :headbang:

Did you ever try this out? Sorry to hear that you're squeak is still persisting.

My dash trim is a rattle machine.

Open up your trunk and tuck your head inside. Look over on the passenger side where the sub is tucked in (if you have one). See where that black wire is hanging from in this photo?

There's a gap there. Put your hand behind the thin bedliner/insulation and try pulling it away from whatever it's tucked against. Voila. That took care of my problem on the spot. Make sure you're pulling more from the inside and not just at the edge of the liner.

If you're not sure that this is the problem, try pushing in at different points in this area to see if it creates a squeak in the first place. Mine did.

And this whole time I thought it was my subwoofer.

If I am on some very bad roads I will get some rattling from the dash but I think any car would do that on those roads. A lot better than my 14 though.

Mine is tight as well. No rattles or anything.

I did, and it didn't make the noise the one time I took it out afterward. I'm hoping this worked, so time will tell. Thanks for the help on that!

Mine is as tight as a drum too. I had one strange squeak/rattle coming from the rear drivers side one morning when the temps were in the 20's, but it went away as the car interior warmed up.
It has never happened again, even on other cold mornings.

Sad to say, but any car I have had with rattles was never repaired adequately by any dealer

I never had any rattles until I installed my exhaust. Now at certain RPMs, the dash will rattle a bit, but I only notice it with the windows up and the radio off.

I've had just about every interior panel off and on at least twice and the only rattle is from the small panel by the headlight switch that a LOT of people are experiencing...
