It's a great feature for getting in/out in a two car garage as well. You really can't open the door as far as you think with that pointy body line. :)

Seriously! Why does my door always look like it's going to stab the car next to me with a tiny point? The body line looks cool, but it's murder for door dings. Fortunately, for me, so far so good!

I found the best way to reduce leather scuffing is to not wear an abrasive belt (stay away from woven belts), using the steering wheel to keep my ass up while sitting in the seat and lifting my ass up out of the seat by pushing down on the door sill with my hand as I get out.

I solve this by not parking next to other cars. On rare occasions I'll break stage bottles (made of sugar, used in movie bar fights) in adjacent empty spots to keep them that way. ;)

Had this in previous cars, miss it greatly in my GT. Next car will have it no matter what!

Brilliant. Where does one find these bottles you speak of?

Expensive to buy since show biz just increases ticket prices plus they need them to have realistic appearance and labels, etc.. Amazon sells them: https://www.amazon.com/SMASHProps-B...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=NXSHZ3MQWA4JT4Z0SAD1

But they are really cheap to make other than the time it takes: http://www.instructables.com/id/Fake-glass-bottleSugar-glass/?ALLSTEPS or https://www.smooth-on.com/tutorials/breakaway-glass-bottle-prop/

I don't actually use them but I have thought about it while hiking 1/4 mile to and from the nearest safe parking spot.
