I have a back problem, so I had been using the memory buttons to move the seat back and forward for entry/exit. Well today I found the "Easy entry/exit" feature, which moves the seat back automatically when you turn the car off and forward when you start it. I just tap the start button with my foot off the clutch to move the seat forward and then again with my foot on the clutch to start.

The feature is disabled by default. Who knew?

Whispers (its in the manual)
Love it, its so cool, get in press the button and the seat moves you onto the pedals, Steph says it's like Thunderbird 1 :D
mind you not good for a passenger behind you, when you roll back
its also one thing that really upsets the Euro lot as it's not on the RHD

You are an evil person to put someone in the back seat. ;)

My wife gets back there sometimes, but she's 5'3" and 105#. At 6'2" and 205# it's torture for me.

ikr! without it, you would sit in the seat sideways, wait until it goes all the way back, then put your legs in the car. ;)

This is just for the premium package, yes?
Only included if you have the memory seats - which was not native to premium package. At least not in 2015.

I didn't know the feature existed until I was playing around with the settings menu and found it. It is a godsend for me. No more playing around with the memory seat buttons.

It is a bit freaky at first in my manual because I usually shut the car off in gear. The seat starts to move around the same time the engine shuts off with my foot still on the clutch.

When starting, there's no way I can get the clutch to the floor from the fully back position, so I tap the button to move the seat, then tap it again to start. Works out fine.

it's not too bad
and doing Weddings have had many different shapes and sizes in the back
been told more room than the S197 as the seats you sink into more

Feature really helps save your leather, too. I was disturbed how quickly the side of my seat was showing wear as I slid in and out of the car. Turned on this feature and the wear stopped. You easily clear the edge instead of rubbing on it every time.

It's a great feature for getting in/out in a two car garage as well. You really can't open the door as far as you think with that pointy body line. :)
