I was curious what are some little HP gains I can make without voiding warranties. I have many warranties but one is to replace my engine/transmission for the life of my car when I have it. They are not that strict but I want to keep it safe to at least keep that one! Was curious was suggestions you guys have so I can ask the dealership if it is alright

They do not exists. Anything that raises hp above is grounds to decline warranty. If you let yourself believe otherwise, you're cheating yourself.

Technically, if Ford or your dealer wanted to be turds, modifying the car in anyway that alters the way it functions could void your warranty. But if they play that card, they have to prove that the modification is what caused the failure. For example, a CAI wouldnt negatively impact the way your engine breathes, it really only improve its, but Ford could claim it threw numbers off and caused the air/ratio to go rich, which started some kind of domimo effect. There are some horror stories involving warranty issuee with minor mods like a CAI on here. Its you against them, so if your concerned about warranties, your probably best off leaving things alone.

There are some mods you could always return to stock if an issue should arise. But some things, like a tune, leave tracks that can be found if looked form.

If you take your car in for a warrenty item there going to work on that item. There not looking for a mod to your car. I have JLT oil separator in plain view also SK throttle spacer in plain view. When the service tech takes my car to get it to the mechanic he knows something was done and just smiles and that's a sweet mustang. I also have a JMS PedalMAX and SCTx4 93 tune direct from SCT Sanford, FL all my mods are under $900 and it very quick from idle stop to top end. The SCTx4 comes preloaded with 87, 91, 93 tunes and a menu that let's you change RPM's limits and shifting firmness.

RWHP 252/RWTQ 240 it carried the HP RPM's to 7000 and TQ fell off like a rock at 5300. The mods I have make my stang very quick over all from stop idle to top end. I not interested 0-60 since I'm a auto with 3.15 how ever from 30-100 getting on the freeway is very quick.

I thought 3.15 was best for 0-60?

Not really best I've read was 5.5, 3.55 the best.
Hmm I got it wrong then? Cause I always thought the higher the gear ratio the better it is at higher speeds and with 3.15 I can get to 60 shifting to 2nd without going to 3rd. I get 5.3 seconds with a catback.
